OUR STORY

Turning Point began in the hearts of Pastors Michael and Charla Turner in 2002. As they fasted and prayed God confirmed it in their hearts and through their pastors. God was calling them to begin a work in Henry County. January 5th, 2003 the dream began in a home as Turning Point held its first meeting, with 21 other people. In March of 2003, Turning Point held its first public service in a local middle school.

We met in schools setting up and breaking down for 18 months and moved into an office park as a more permanent location.
In October of 2006 we moved into our current facility where we are able to minister to hundreds every week.

Turning Point is currently meeting in our very own worship facility off of Old Jackson Rd in McDonough, 3 miles east of The McDonough Square. We have rented for over 8 years and God has enabled us to reach hundreds. We truly believe that in this new facility we will see thousands come to know Jesus. We also have plans to start a pre-school and coffee shop, within this new facility, to reach out to the community.

In the future we also desire to launch multi-site campuses all around the metro Atlanta area to further expand the Kingdom of God to our world.
